BREAD - "The Guitar Man" LP

Click Image to Enlarge This is the 1972 album by Bread called The Guitar Man. Their fifth album. From Elektra Records. The one offered here is a test pressing record. Unplayed. In mint condition. This has been on my record rack for 43 years. I have 2 copies and have only listened to one of them. The jacket is all white. The sleeve inside is plastic and in very good condition.

"The Guitar Man" is a song written by David Gates, a member of Bread. It first appeared on this album. The song is a mixture of the sounds of soft rock, including strings and acoustic guitar, and the addition of a wah-wah effect electric guitar, played by Larry Knechtel. It peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States and became their third #1 hit on the easy listening chart, (following "If" and "Baby I'm-a Want You"). © Wikipedia
