The HOBBIT

J.R.R. Tolkien ~ 2-LP Box Set ~ Rankin/Bass ~ Buena Vista Records

RECORD ONE:  Side one is mint w/ no visible flaw.  Side four has two faint to moderate scratches.  One is approximately 1 & 1/2" long while the other is less than 1".  Neither can be felt and should play through.

RECORD TWO:  Side two has one faint rub about an inch" long that follows the groove.  Side three has two rubs that also follow the groove.  Otherwise very nice and should be playable with no problems.

HINGED BOX:  Has expected age wear.  No corner splits on top or bottom.  One two inch split on seam middle top of bottom box.  One inch split middle of bottom on spine edge.  Overall very nice.

INSERTS:  Booklet is near mint.  Four sheet poster has never been hung and possibly never unfolded.  The rarest of the inserts is the rub-on sheet.  Nearly impossible to find in any condition.  This one is unused and in what should be considered near mint or better condition.

Two LP set with all inserts in outstanding condition.   Very nice collectible grade set.  Buena Vista Records, 1977.
