Originally issued in 1980 on EMI's HMV label The original recording was made at the San Carlos Opera House, Lisbon on March 27th, 1958 The recording features Maria Callas as Violetta Valery with Alfredo Kraus, as Alfredo Germont, Mario Sereni, as Giorgio Germont, Laura Zanini, as Flora Bervoix, with the orchestra and chorus of San Carlos Opera House (chorus masters Mario Pellegrini & Carlo Pasquale) conducted by Franco Ghione.

Condition

The records themselves appear to be in good condition with no obvious marks or scratches and there are no signs of warping. There is some surface noise but the records seems to play well
The outer sleeve has some slight creases and marks, some ring and edge wear and the laminate is lifting in a couple of places, but is otherwise intact. 
The libretto is has some slight spotting but is otherwise clean and legible (see photos) Based on the guidelines of the Record Collectors Guild, I would say this record is 'Very good' (http://recordcollectorsguild.org/category/record-tips/)
