Great original pressing.
This LP comes from a great collection of about 1300 LPs I acquired in Manhattan. The collector was an experimental/avant garde jazz musician with a truly eclectic taste. He told me he loved anything with "a groove". He owned a lot of latin music and jazz but also had lots of psych, prog, classic rock and soul. Most of the records were bought in Boston and NYC between 1972 and 1990. There's a lot of pretty rare records, including original pressings from a number of different countries; the covers' condition varies but the vinyl for the most part is in great condition. Be sure to check my other listings for more records on sale from this one-of-a-kind collection this week!

Near Mint (NM or M-)
The record should show no obvious signs of wear and will be glossy/shiny. A sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling. No cracks, scratches or warps.
Excellent (EX or VG++)
One or two light marks visible on the disc at most, otherwise full gloss. No cracks, scratches or warps. Sleeve shows 1-2 marks, nothing too major, maybe at the edges.
Very Good Plus (VG+)
A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled.
Record surfaces may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Maybe also slight warps that do not affect the sound.
Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly bent corners, or a slight seam split.
Very Good (VG)
Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during the intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers.
Good (G), Good Plus (G+)
A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise, scratches and groove wear. Tape, writing, seam splits, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object.
