Description Here's your chance to hear some of the best of Hardy's poetry read by the incomperable Richard Burton.  It was in the Further Education Library of St. Alban's College and has been very carefully handled.

Payment

PayPal is our preferred method of payment so you can receive your goods as quickly as possible.

UK purchasers may also pay with cheque or postal order. INTERNATIONAL - PAYPAL ONLY, no exceptions.

A NOTE ABOUT BEST OFFERS:

When I list an item as Buy it Now or Best Offer, I have considered the asking price very carefully and use comparisons with other similar items that have sold on ebay.  I do not just set a very high price and hope for the best.  Ebay recommends that buyers make an offer that is fair to both the buyer and the seller.  It is therefore quite insulting to receive an offer that is less than half – or worse – implying that I have deliberately asked for an unfair or inflated price.  I do not accept offers that are derisory and sometimes do not even reply to them or offer an alternative.

Shipping I post all items as soon as possible after receipt of payment, usually 1-2 working days. In the UK I use second class because of the recent substantial rise in postage prices. I use standard International airmail for those items I can send outside the UK.  I try to pack everything as carefully as possible and have only had one item break in 10 years of trading!     I use clean packing materials, but am happy to use some recycled packaging for the sake of the environment (and our pockets!).  I do not pass on all of the packaging costs to my buyers.

Terms of Sale

Please make your payment within three days of the end of the auction.  I will send a friendly reminder on the fourth day, and if I have not heard from you after 7 days, I reserve the right to open a case and/or relist the item.

If an item is Buy it Now, immediate payment is required. If it is Buy it Now or Best Offer, please make your payment as soon as your offer is accepted as there may be others waiting.

About Us I have been trading on ebay for many years, selling small collectibles, textiles, craft items and books. I want only happy buyers and value my positive feedback. If there is anything you are not satisfied with, I will deal with your complaint fairly. If an item is damaged in the post or is substantially not as described, I will give you a full refund, including postage, when the item is returned. No hassle. I only make a very small charge for packaging and do my best to be accurate with the postage. If I find that I have overestimated the postage, I will make an immediate refund of the excess. If I have underestimated, I bear the excess myself.
