Vinyl Audio Grade & Date of Playtest: Play Grade Very Good (Supremely sharp and clear sound, no noticeable audible crackle at all throughout the tracks, very quiet on the run ins and run offs, no skips, no jumps, no sticking, the reason this has been graded Very Good and not higher is because there are some audible clicks per revolution on the man who sold the world LP on side 2 in between tracks 1 and 2 for about 45 seconds and also some audible clicks on hunky dory on side 1 on eight line poem for 20 seconds or so. This is a result of a small hairline feelable mark on the disc. Very Good sound quality) (Playtested 29th February 2016)

Vinyl Visual Grade: Very Good + (there are barely any superficial hairline marks on any of the records, all of the records are mainly unmarked apart from a small 0.5cm hairline mark on side 1 of Hunky Dory and a more significant feelable hairline mark/squiggle on side 2 of The Man Who Sold The World , other than these two marks the records have beautifully clean surfaces, the records are very clean, there are a few additional paper traces from the inner sleeve under extreme bright light, looks to have been played only once or twice in its lifetime, labels are clean with no rips/tears to the labels, there is no wear around the spindle holes, no pen marks or writing on the label, wonderful sheen to the records, this would have been graded near mint if the two small marks hadn't have been there)

Album Cover Grade: Very Good (comes with all 3 white inner sleeves, no major damage to the outer cardboard box and no splits, there is no major rubbing/wear to the spine and the spine is clearly legible, no serious rips or tears in the box, some slight corner rubbing, there is no pen marks/writing on the sleeve, s very slight bit of lifting here and there but nothing serious, the sleeve suffers from very little discolouration, there is a 6cm piece of clear cellotape on the rear box which is a remnant of someone receiving this record as a birthday or christmas gift)

All records are graded in complete honesty and with the utmost scrutiny. All records listed have been playtested by me and will not jump, stick, or skip in any way. I have been collecting records now for approximately 15 years and have amassed quite a collection and have decided now is the time to reduce the collection in size. The quality of items listed generally varies but most of the time will be in Excellent condition or thereabouts. If it is higher or lower than Excellent then it will be mentioned in full detail in the grading section above. Most of the records that will be listed will be from the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970s. The genre's will vary from prog rock, soul, reggae, rock n roll, beat, pop, psych. I will not be offering any classical records for sale though. I have some huge rarities in my collection and all will be up for sale at some point in the next year or so.

I have been trading on ebay for over 14 years but I have recently set up a new user id so that is why my current feedback is very low.

If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to ask. Please also click on 'see other items' on the right hand side of the page to see what i have on offer. All the pictures you see in the listings are taken with my own digital camera and my scanner. They will be 100% representative of what you will be purchasing from me. Good Luck !

All prices will reflect the condition and rarity of the record and its current rough value in the current marketplace.

MINT

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
