From Atlantic Records (1419), this is COLTRANE'S SOUND by
JOHN COLTRANE, a first US mono (high fidelity) pressing, late
June 1964. Jacket still has shrink-wrap attached except at opening (about
EX+); the LP play grades about VG and better with intermittent, moderate-level
pops throughout. There is no distortion even in the more dynamic passages;
Coltrane's tenor and soprano are clean and clear, and the rhythm section
shows no sonic failings. Not a perfect piece by any means, but not a bad
example of the rare first mono from late June of '64 (recorded October
24 & 26, 1960). Enjoyable even with the minor flaws.

The Cuts:
When you buy from a small Mom & Pop business you
are not helping a CEO buy a third vacation home,
a second yacht or a four hundred million dollar golden
parachute. Instead, you’re helping a little girl get
dance lessons, a little boy get his team jersey,
a Mom put food on the table, a Dad pay a mortgage,
or a student pay for college. Our customers are our
shareholders; they are the ones we strive to make happy.
Thank you for supporting small businesses.
