“Lui” by Lui Williams (Lui Productions, LH 17382 – 1978) One of the most sought-after of the “Cool Hawaii” records, along with Tender Leaf and Tony Tam Sing’s “Tony” on Shampton, this is a privately pressed LP from Lui Williams, with the songs “My Lover” and “Oh, Oh (I Think I’m Fallin’ In Love)” and (oddly) featuring Pamela Polland from The Gentle Soul on backing vox. Should appeal to fans of Lemuria, Tender Leaf, Babadu, Rider Kiaha, George Street, Kasuals, Summer, Gary Sterling, Golden Throat & other “Cool Hawaii” records.
