Hey Kids!
Here is a RARE Vinyl LP test pressing copy of Fit For A King's album "Slave to Nothing". This test pressing was limited to only five copies ever, and this is the ONLY copy that will be released to the public (the rest went to the band, or an incinerator... J/K), so bid hard. It was archived and tested only ONCE, at the time of the album's original vinyl release. I would describe the record's condition as VG+, but I am not a record grader.
Purchase at your own risk, be kind, and remember: this rarity is for charity!
Each Test Pressing comes with a Brandon Ebel Signed "Certificate of Authenticity".
Background:
Tooth and Nail Records is proud to use my eBay savvy to help them auction off some insanely rare vinyl Test Pressings from the last few years (always limited to 5 or less Tests created ever). I don't work directly for T&N, I am just trying to be a good sport and help get these ol' dust-collectors into the hands of some appreciative fans like myself! I also have hand-archived and curated this entire collection over the last 10 or so years, so all of the handwriting and inventory keeping information you see on the sleeves is my own.
These auctions will be held around five-at-a-time, over the next few weeks. I will attempt to give as much detail about each item as I can, including whether or not an additional copy will be listed in a future auction.
Through these auctions, Tooth & Nail hopes to help raise awareness and money for the Seattle Union Gospel Mission non-profit Charity Organization (a minimum of $1,000 in direct proceeds from these auctions will be donated, no matter the outcome of the winning prices).
Charity Information:
"Seattle's Union Gospel Mission provides emergency care and long-term recovery services to hurting and homeless people in the greater Seattle area. We're expanding our efforts like never before — beyond Seattle to the rest of King County.
We started serving soup to thousands of homeless and unemployed people during the Great Depression. More than 80 years later, we're still caring for our neighbors — but in more ways than ever before. We refuse to forget our poor and homeless neighbors. Our programs awaken hope in the hearts of people overcome with poverty and homelessness. We're challenging the standard thinking about how to fight poverty with 5 Mission Initiatives that tackle these key problems: Hunger, Homelessnes, Poverty, High Risk Youth, & Addiction. Change like this won't become reality through our efforts alone. We're partnering with churches, organizations . . . and local government, to make this happen."
HEY YOU! READ THIS!
Buyer information:
Please don't send me messages asking me "if X album is going to be made available for auction." Whatever we've got, you will see by the end of the summer. It will take too much time to field individual "what about this one?"-type questions. I can say right up front, that there will sadly NOT be any copies of Underoath, Copeland, or Mae test pressing records. Also, any vinyl from T&N that pre-dates 2005 has been lost to the sands of time, and we don't have any to put up for auction.
Bids from buyers with a feedback rating of less than 5 will not be accepted, sorry!
I can only ship to the US and Canada. If you are an international bidder, please contact your buddy in the US and get them to help you out!
