Ira Sullivan - "The Ira Sullivan Quintet"; Demmark DL-402; 1964 reissue or 1960 session; mono. With Johnny Griffin, Jodie Christian, Vic Sproles, Wilbur Campbell. LP excellent. Sleeve (see below). I remember buying this LP from Bob Koester himself, at the Jazz record Mart shop on Grand Ave. in Chgo. As I recall, he had run out of illustrated sleeves, so he packaged the remaining discs in a cardboard sleeve with oval cutout, one side having the liner notes glued on top!. You can see the glue seeping through the paper...it ain't pretty but you could call it the personal touch from Mr Koester.
