BENNIE GREEN ”Soul Stirrin’” RVG, P, DG, LAM, Blue Note BLP 1599 Mono Vinyl This is 1958, first edition, “RVG” stamped, Laminated Cover, Deep Groove, “P” pressing of BENNIE GREEN’s “Soul Stirrin’” on the "47 West 63rd” labels of Blue Note BLP 1599. Musicians include Bennie Green, Gene Ammons, Billy Root, Sonny Clark, Ike Isaacs, Elvin Jones, Babs Gonzales. VINYL plays well, with very light surface noise (i.e, crackle, static, 静的 or うるさい, relative to the volume of the music/instruments), with pops and ticks. Side 2 slightly quieter than Side 1; both sides very listenable as music is louder than light surface noise. Ensemble sections are clear, dynamic and strong. No skips. Good gloss. Many hairline marks, a couple feelable. (If you can’t feel it, you won’t hear it). The Deep Groove “47 West 63rd” labels are clean, spindle wear. Original inner sleeve included. See photos. LAMINATED COVER is in OK shape. Some peeling, wrinkles present. Corners worn. Top seam and spine shows cracking, small splits at end. Bottom seam cracking and long splits. “BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23” back jacket shows wear. Please see photos. This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER. Media Mail or Priority shipping is available in the US. Insurance Recommended. SELLER NOT RESPSONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE DUE TO MAIL CARRIER.
