This is the RVG stamped, Laminated Cover, pressing of JACKIE MCLEAN's "New Soil" on the "47 West 63rd" labels of Blue Note BLP 4013. Musicians include Jackie McLean - alto saxophone, Donald Byrd - trumpet, Walter Davis Jr. - piano, Paul Chambers - bass, Pete LaRoca - drums.
VINYL plays well, largely clean. Ensemble sections are clear, dynamic and strong. A few non feelable hairline marks. (If you can't feel it you won't hear it.) No Skips. No locked grooves. Very good gloss. The "47 West 63rd" labels are clean, with spindle marks. See photos.
LAMINATED COVER is in very good shape, Corners worn. Seams and spine generally clean and solid; top seam split end to end. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23" back jacket clean, with stamps, “MAX” , wear. Please see photos.
