*** DAVID BOWIE - HUNKY DORY VINYL LP ***

(RCA Victor SF 8244 UK LP 1971)

This is a UK original 1971 LP pressing. It has a matt sleeve which has the "A Gem Production" credit on the rear. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve. It also comes with its original Lyric Insert. This is printed on semi-buff paper. The insert also has the "A Gem Production" credit. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has -3T/ -3T matrix stampers.  Bobil Rasputin Stamps.  The RCA Victor labels have the "Chrysalis Music Ltd./ Titanic Music" credit for all of Bowie's compositions. This changed to "Mainman" credit in 1973. The labels also have the "A Gem Productuion" credit on them. These early "Titanic" credit UK pressings are not that common.


Sleeve: There is some moderate rubbing wear to the bottom edge. There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the top edge. There is some light or very mild rubbing wear to the spine in some areas. There is some light or very mild ringwear. There is some mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. VG condition

Vinyl: There are some light to very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 4 light hairline marks. Two of these are quite long but very light. VG condition. The labels are in excellent condition & show very light spindle wear only. The company inner sleeve is in VG condition. There is some light to mild ringwear & creasing. There is some mild fading & a small tear at the top opening. Th Lyric Insert is in VG condition. There are some light to mild handling creases. There is some mild foxing too. 

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG+ overall & Near Excellent in many places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are a very few light clicks at the very start of Side 1. They do not last too long.
