LEE MORGAN “The Sidewinder” RVG, P, Blue Note 4157 Mono Vinyl
This is the first edition, “VAN GELDER” stamped, Deep Groove, P pressing of LEE MORGAN’s “The Sidewinder” on the "New York” labels of Blue Note BLP 4157. Musicians include Lee Morgan – trumpet, Joe Henderson – tenor saxophone, Barry Harris – piano, Bob Cranshaw – bass, Billy Higgins – drums.
VINYL plays well, with consistent light surface noise in spots, some pops and ticks. But Ensemble sections are clear, dynamic and strong. No skips. OK Good gloss. Handful of non feelable hairline marks. (If you can’t feel it, you won’t hear it). The Dep Groove (one side) “New York” labels show some wear, "Jackie" on Side 1 label. See photos.
COVER is beat, all seams and spine taped, writing on front and back. Corners worn. “BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23” back jacket shows wear and writing. Please see photos.
This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
Media Mail or Priority shipping is available in the US. Insurance Recommended. SELLER NOT RESPSONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE DUE TO MAIL CARRIER. WE ACCEPT PAYPAL ONLY.
PAYPAL PAYMENT EXPECTED WITHIN THREE DAYS OF AUCTION'S CLOSE OR ORDER WILL BE CANCELLED. No returns.
