Regular classical collectors will recognise my name as a consistent seller. Whilst hunting down collectable classical, I also come across a wide variety of contemporary recordings.
Therefore, I am now starting a small, additional auction of LP’s.
Several very high value recordings – listed at a very low starting price, to ensure the recordings sell and to encourage early bidding !
Note - All postage are rates set at ‘cost’ ??
==========================================================================================
And another highly collectable, First Pressing !
A 1982 stereo LP release on the "4AD" Label, Serial No CAD 211:
COCTEAU TWINS: "Garlands"
Playlist as per photo of rear of sleeve
Vinyl Condition - Near MInt (pristine vinyl - some light foxing to label)
(Matrix Numbers on run-off are CAD 211 A-1 & CAD 211 B-1)
Sleeve Condition - Excellent / (light general ageing / foxing)
========================================================================================== CONDITION GRADINGS My descriptions are logical, simple and straightforward, as outlined – below: Near Mint Vinyl : flawless vinyl but for superlight sleeve rub/spindle marks. Sleeve/Box: minimal blemishes
Excellent + Vinyl only: one or two very light, non-sounding hairline marks.
Excellent Vinyl: A few more hairline / light marks. Maybe the odd pop or crackle. Sleeve/Box: Starting to age, possible light stains, index no’s on rear, evidence of sticker being removed
Excellent - Vinyl only: A few more hairline and light marks still. May be some light background noise/crackle with the occasional pop, and tick in places.
Please rest-assured that all significantly visible marks are sound-checked and described accurately.
I try to keep my gradings as simple as possible. Nothing will be ‘mint’ because all these recordings are pre-owned. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ RETURNS If you bid and win a recording, please be assured that: I am happy to guarantee a refund on any recording, found to fall below my grading ? POSTAGE
IMPORTANT – International Bidders –
I WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO FIND THE CHEAPEST POSTAGE RATES ON YOUR MULTIPLE PURCHASES. HOWEVER - I AM NOT WILLING TO PUT A FALSE VALUE ON THE PACKAGE’s CUSTOMS LABEL. ALL LABELS, CUSTOMS AND POSTAGE DOCUMENTS WILL QUOTE THE CORRECT VALUE Standard rate of charge for individual LP’s – additional insurance may apply.
Multiple purchases will be charged on the combined weight.
Sellers are encouraged to put a collection together, as combining purchases will save on the cost of postage. (The true savings start when your collection exceeds 2.0kg)
For example – 1 x single LP travelling ‘Royal Mail Air Mail’ is around £8.50 (£8.50 per LP) 6 x LP’s on the same service are around £18.75 (£3 per LP) However, using an alternative international courier – 30 x LP’s equate to around £40.00 (£1.30 / LP) In other words, the more items you purchase, the far better the postage rates ?
Box-sets are listed with their specific, packaged weight, due to the variation in weights and the size of accompanying notes.
I AM HAPPY TO SHIP WORLDWIDE.
THE NECESSARY INSURANCE WILL BE ADDED TO EVERY INVOICE FOR MORE VALUABLE RECORDINGS (£25 and above), TO COVER THE COST OF THE PURCHASE.
EUROPEAN BUYERS – PLEASE WAIT FOR YOUR INVOICE, AS YOUR RATE WILL BE CHEAPER THAN THE POSTAGE RATE QUOTED. EBAY ONLY ALLOWS ONE INTERNATIONAL RATE ON A LISTING…
PAYMENT PAYPAL ONLY ACCEPTED FROM BUYERS OUTSIDE THE UNITED KINGDOM.
RETURNS I aim to be a straightforward, 100% honest EBay Seller. If any item falls below your expectation, I guarantee that I will resolve the issue without debate.
