Pogo comic strip creator, Walt Kelly, wrote the lyrics to many songs, with music by Norman Monath. The songs were collected in the book SONGS OF THE POGO and the record album of the same name. While the book had 30 songs, the record "only" had 18 songs. It's a fun album, with a lot of clever wordplay and nonsense lyrics.
