Christmas through the Years 5 Vinyl Record Albums 1984 Vintage Readers Digest LP Unopened NOS ~ Christmas through the Years ~ Vintage Readers Digest LP Never Opened ~ 5 Vinyl Albums 1984 Vinyl Record Grading We use the Goldmine Classification for record grading of vintage vinyl recordings. All vinyl recordings (records) are play tested to assure that we don't ship a skip record. The Record Collectors Guild (Goldmine Standard): Mint (M) Sealed record, new, never played. Near Mint (NM) The record will look as if it was never played, the LP Jacket should have no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable defects and no cut-out holes, the same should be true for any inserts, posters, lyric sheets and the like. Very Good Plus (VG+) Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't effect listening. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are o.k. An LP Jacket may have slight signs of wear and may have a cut-out or other indentation indicating it was taken out of print. Very Good (VG) Surface noise will be evident upon playing but will not overpower the music. Groove wear will start to be noticeable as with light scratches that will affect the sound. Labels may have writing, tape, stickers or their residue. The same will be true for picture sleeves or LP Jackets and may have a seam split. Good Plus (G+) Good does not mean bad. A record in good or good plus condition can be played through without skipping. But it will have surface noise, scratches and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve will have seam splits on the bottom and side. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object. Any grade lower, we reject and will not sell.
