Sonic Boom - Spectrum - Vinyl LP - 1990 (ORE LP 506)

Full info: https://www.discogs.com/Sonic-Boom-Spectrum/release/509668

Will be dispatched using specialist vinyl shipping holders. See the last two photos for examples. These things are SOLID. Your vinyl is safe in the post and even the most vindictive postie would have to go some to bend it!

Cover, inner sleeve and vinyl all in nice condition. Original UK pressing of this.

This copy has been professionally cleaned (on a Pro-ject VC-S MKII I believe - I used a local hifi specialist) and comes in a brand new anti-static cover. (All original inner sleeves etc still present of course!)

Read below if you want the full story .....

GENERAL INFO

Selling off all my vinyl. Most of it was bought in the late 80's and through the 90's, into the early 2000's. Most have been played at least a few times. Some perhaps only once or twice. The turntable got packed away around 2003/4, and they have been stored ever since. Always stored indoors. Never in a damp garage or attic.

I'm not a record collector, so I'm not going to try and give exact gradings. I don't have the experience for that and would likely just get it wrong. From what I've read on record collector sites, I would put most of mine somewhere between VG and EX. So assume that sort of condition throughout. If any are towards the bottom or top end of that scale, I'll mention it at the start of the listing. Same with extras and inserts, if they're there, I will mention it.

I do still have my turntable .... for now. So I set it up and have had a quick test listen to anything I've listed. I won't have listened to it start to finish (too many!), but had a short listen to a track or three on each side. If I hear any bad jumps or skips, I won't list it. Obviously, I'll have a good look visually as well. Most will exhibit a little crackle. My turntable is not the greatest on the planet so I don't know how much will be down to my needle. But again, if the crackle is horrendous, I won't list it.

I uploaded the photos at full resolution straight from the camera (not a phone) to try and catch as much detail possible. If you'd like more, just let me know. I know record collectors can be picky so I'm trying to be as honest and upfront as possible here!

I will normally post next working day. Sometimes same day if you get payment in early. I'm not able to post at weekends.

These are listed as "Free Postage". But, obviously, that means the P&P costs are factored into the price. There is no such thing as "free" postage. If there is, someone please tell me how I get it from the Royal Mail! So, please bear in mind the post and packaging costs are factored into the price.

To break that down for you:

£4.00 - I send everything Royal Mail, Second Class Recorded.
£0.40 - PayPal 10% charge on the postage cost!!!
£0.70 - (ish) - for the specialist packaging.

Plus a few pence for sticky labels, tape etc. And the time taken going to and from the PO and standing in queues there.

So you can see it costs me over a fiver to post these.

On the upside, the specialist packaging can take 3 records. Maybe 4 at a push. And it's also possible to fill 2 or 3 of them, then tape them together and send it as once parcel. Up to 2kg in weight, the postage cost does not increase. That would be around 10 albums. So I'm happy to combine postage on multiple purchases to keep the costs down. I will need to adjust the total bill for multiple purchases to please wait before paying. Assume a deduction of £5 per item if combining.

Thanks for looking! :)
