The Eagles’ original Asylum Records studio albums issued in the seventies, will be released on 180-gram vinyl, in a special limited edition box set called The Studio Albums 1972-1979.

Each LP within the box features replicas of the original album packaging with two special artwork upgrades – the sleeve of the debut album, Eagles, will be released as the band originally intended, with no glue flaps, so the cover folds out into a poster. Hotel California will include a replica of the poster from the original issue with band photos by Norman Seeff in full colour, for the first time.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You might have read that this box set was limited to 5,000 copies and was housed in an individually numbered slipcase with a gold foil stamp of the band’s logo. As far as I can tell, this was the Asylum Records release in the United States (date of release: October 29, 2013). The box set I am selling is exactly the same as the Asylum Records release, minus the gold foil number stamp on the back.

When I bought this new from Amazon, I guess I ended up with the Warner Music release instead (see photos in my

listing). They both have the same UPC Code number: 0349792018. I did read somewhere that there was a release in Europe of this box set minus the gold foil stamp number (date of release: November 22, 2013).
