I am a vinyl collector myself and test my records on a modified Thorens TD160 with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge. My gradings are done with years of experience buying, selling and collecting records.

Gradings are visual only, under strong daylight or electric light, unless stated. Records grading less than VG are not graded - I will state the fault. Hairlines are the light fine marks visible in direct sunlight or under an electric light. Marks are visible in most light conditions and I will often state if they are sounding or non-sounding marks. A scratch is a mark that can be felt by running a finger nail across it: usually producing a sounding fault but not always and I will state if it is a non-sounding scratch. When you are playing your records please make sure your tone-arm is correctly set up so that you can play any decent record without skipping or sticking. Unless stated, records are not cleaned and will ideally benefit from a pro-clean on a pro-cleaning machine such as a Loricraft

My standard dispatch time is up to 5 working days after payment is received. If you need it fast let me know and I will send it fast

I use these couriers- UK - Royal Mail 48 tracked delivery. International delivery up to 7 records - Royal Mail. Europe over 7 records - Parcelforce or DPD. Rest of World - I use the cheapest reliable tracked shipping

Packaging - Depending on thickness I use new strong mailers and 2 strong cardboard stiffeners for 1 to 3 records and cruciform cardboard mailers for 2 to 6 records. Records are placed in brand new thin plastic outer sleeves before packing. Larger amounts of records are boxed in a cardboard box fit for the purpose. Please note I pay Ebay and Paypal fees of 15 to 19% of the final value plus postage charges. Brand new packaging costs me minimum 85p for each parcel sent. I don't make any profit on shipping charges
