Trying to downsize, so I am selling lots of my old hifi bits and records that I no-longer listen to or have duplicates of, so please have a look at my other items too over the next few weeks.
Artist: Genesis
Title: Nursery Cryme
Year: 1971 (1972 repress)
Label: early Charisma 'Mad Hatter' pink label [nb usually this matrix is found on the 'pink scroll' label - so this must be the early 1972 repressing with the Mad Hatter using the original master & matrix?]
Matrix: CAS1052 A-1U/B-2U 'Hiltop'
Vinyl condition: 'Very good+' some light marks on both sides, but good shine, plays well, only a few clicks etc
Sleeve/label etc condition: 'Excellent-' strong textured gatefold sleeve, minor edge wear, some small scratches to inside sleeve, inner excellent, some marks to labels
The record has been cleaned using the Nessie Vinylcleaner Pro pictured, and has been listened to before grading. It will come with a new Nagaoka anti-static inner within the original one, sealed in an plastic envelope and in a heavy-duty mailer.
I use the Record Collectors' Grading descriptions below. I will always include a basic description with '+ / -' to help explain the grading, particularly for records that are 30-50 years old. Please also look carefully at the pictures.
Record Collector Grading System
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
