Vintage HUGE LOT of classical 33 rpm records (stereo & mono recordings) featuring Arturo Toscanini conducting the NBC symphony orchestra, as follows:
- A-4009 - RARE?? Romantic Music, Volume 2 - Victor of JAPAN box set containing 4 lps & booklet insert in Japanese. RCA record labels marked "Red Seal" and "Super Record". Date found inside booklet - 1954. (pics 9 & 10) - LM-1768 - The Pines....The Fountains of Rome - boxed "set" containing one record with an attached booklet. No date located. (pic #7) - LM-1838 - Pictures at an Exhibition - one record - LM-6009 - Beethoven Symphonies Nos. 1 and 9 - boxed set containing 2 records - note outer box has condition issues (pic #5) - LM-1849 - Verdi - TE DEUM, Boito - MEFISTOFFELE: PROLOGUE - boxed "set" containing one record with an attached booklet. Date found inside booklet - 1955 (pic #8, top) - LM-6901 - Nine Beethoven Symphonies - boxed set of 6 records - individual recording dates listed on each record range from 1949 to 1952. Note that this set *should* have 7 records - we have 1-6. (pic #8. bottom) - LM-1004 - Grand Canyon Suite - one record - note that the cover is split on 2 of the 3 sides - LM-6108 - Four Brahms Symphonies - "boxed" set of 3 records and attached pamphlet. No date located. Pamphlet notes that these symphonies were recorded and released in a limited edition, of which this one is B1927. Pamphlet has water damage (see pic #12). - VIC-1344 (e) - Elgar/Respighi - one record - red sticker on front reads "stereo effect - reprocessed from monophonic." - dated 1968 - VIC-1311 (e) - Schubert - one record - dated 1968 - "Stereo - electronically reprocessed" - VIC-1267 - Strauss/Dukas/Berlioz - one mono record - 1967
I would say that these records are all in "nice" condition, in my completely UN-professional opinion. UN-boxed weight approx 17 1/2 pounds. Please refer to pics and email with questions. Thanks!
