Oklahoma Wranglers
Gettin' High Feelin' Low Over You / Greenback Dollar

Label: RCA-Victor 47-4965

The Wranglers were a group formed by three brothers from the Willis family, who started playing music on their Sooner family farm back in 1932. They joined the Grand Ole Opry in 1949 and backed Hank Williams on his first recordings!

While the Wranglers would go on to slightly more fame in the 60’s as The Willis Brothers on Starday, and many of the Wranglers’ recordings were compiled by the Bear Family label in the 2000’s, the two tracks on this 45 are uncompiled digitally. The 78 version is scarce enough, but the higher fidelity 45 is a super rarity!

About Us: Lost Padre Records is a record store in Santa Fe, New Mexico specializing in new and used vinyl. Our heart beats for Lee Hazlewood, tequila and succulent plants. Founded by a longtime 60's rock/R'n'B DJ and collector, a record junkie since the 90's, who in 2016 turned his hobby of buying record collections into a business! We grade our records based on how we would BUY them, not how we want to sell them. We will travel for collections.

Payment:
PayPal. Required within 7 days of auction close or your order is cancelled and I will relist the item.

GRADING (Done visually, based on Goldmine)

Near Mint (NM or M-)
The record should show no obvious signs of wear and will be glossy/shiny. A sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling. No cracks, scratches or warps.

Excellent (EX or VG++)
One or two light marks visible on the disc at most, otherwise full gloss. No cracks, scratches or warps. Sleeve shows 1-2 marks, nothing too major, maybe at the edges.

Very Good Plus (VG+)
A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled.

Record surfaces may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Maybe also slight warps that do not affect the sound.

Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly bent corners, or a slight seam split.

Very Good (VG)
Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during the intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.

Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers.

Good (G), Good Plus (G+)
A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise, scratches and groove wear. Tape, writing, seam splits, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object.

What's Included With Your Record Purchase
Please read my description thoroughly. The only items included with your purchase are the ones described in the listing. If something is not mentioned in the description, it is probably not included with the item (for example, original inner sleeves, inserts, posters, etc). If you're not sure, send me a message.
I ship all records in new, sturdy mailers with cardboard filler pads. I separate the discs from the sleeves to avoid damage during shipping. I pack the covers in new thin plastic sleeves and the discs in new white paper sleeves
