The Stranglers Black & White Album, original 1st pressing with the free 7” single “Walk On By” this album was released in 1978 & the first 75000 copies came with the coloured 7” single that also plays at 33rpm, I would state the cover in a near mint condition, no rips, tears or splits, solid spine, it does have a small mark on the top right corner where the price sticker was removed as can be seen in the pics, the inner sleeve is also intact, no tears or splits, you can however see the outline shape of the album which can be expected after 42 years, the single came in a plastic sleeve with a lose label which are both intact, the vinyl I would state also in a near mint condition, no jumps or skips & in all the time since I’ve owned it from the late 70s I’ve probably only ever played it 3 or 4 times, the single again I would state in a near mint condition, as can be seen in the pics the single has a label on saying that if any record store tries to sell the single then to get in touch with said record company, both the album & single play absolutely perfect on my system, matrix numbers = A5/B5 Single matrix = free 9 A1/B1, from a smoke and pet free home, this is from my own personal collection that I’ve acquired from over 40 years of collecting vinyl, posters & other music memorabilia, there are plenty of this album listed on eBay but only 2 that I can find that includes the free single, this is a rare LP that is in absolutely fantastic condition so the starting price reflects that, the album will be posted via Royal Mail signed, over the coming weeks I will be listing more original posters, vinyl and original vintage music related items, please check out my other items for sale, I will combine postage for multiple items, thanks for looking.
