Led Zeppelin I 1 A1/B1 Plum & Red EX/EX Vinyl Record 588 171 Warner Bros Credit.
Absolutely superb original 1969 issue of the fabulous first self titled Led Zeppelin LP on orange and plum Atlantic labels.
The vinyl is in EX condition with only a few very very minor light scuffs and paper removal marks when viewed under strong light. It plays through with superb loud and clear audio throughout, with the exception of a few low level crackles evident in the quiet part between SOME of tracks. This really is a great playable copy with very little lessening in sound quality and hard to find in such good condition. The matrix endings are A1/B1 and it has the corrected “8”s on both sides.
The labels show no obvious signs of repeated play, no spindle marks, etc, and no writing. They have the Warner Bros/Arts credit on both labels. (See photos)
The outer sleeve is EX+ and would have been better if not for a small name written in biro on the top corner. The ink has wiped off but the indentation can be seen in the laminate (see pics). It has the grey stripe along the bottom edge.
The original poly lined inner bag is about as clean and crisp as it gets.
Overall this really is a very nice and rare 1969 pressing of this classic album.
