The original release of the Soundtrack album of Girl Crazy, 1943 MGM musical starring Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland, directed by Norman Taurog and produced by Arthur Freed. Music by George Gershwin with lyrics by Ira Gershwin. This original 1944 Decca album no. A-362 features three 78 RPM 10” 10” records with song favorites: Embraceable You; Could You Use Me?; But Not For Me; Treat Me Rough; Bidin’ My Time; I Got Rhythm.
The discs are all in very good VG+ condition and were tested just prior to this auction to confirm play without skips or imperfections that fail to track through; however we are not qualified to judge audio quality of this vintage as you would experience on your equipment. The cover has some shelf wear and edge wear, with a small torn portion at top edge of spine only, but otherwise fully intact with firm binding and spine. Please zoom in on photos to judge condition. The photos are of the actual item you will receive (not a stock photo). You are buying vintage records and cover in “As-Is” condition, from a family collection shelved upright in a non-smoking home.
Please message any questions you may have prior to bidding. Thank you for your interest!
