I've collected 50's, 60's, and early 70's records of almost every genre - Psych, Prog, Psychedelic Funk, Soul, Rhythm 'n' Blues, Pop, Folk, Garage, Acid, Freakbeat, Rock, Jazz e.t.c and everything in between for all my life!!! Obviously, 90% of the LP's I've ever gotten hold of are completely trashed from the hard living ways and the rock 'n' roll, drug and booze fuelled debauchery of all the wild parties of the times, but the golden 10%? Reluctantly, I've decided to offer them to all of you serious record collectors out there!!! I'm currently trying to set up a record label so unfortunately personal sacrifices have to be made when it comes to my collection, resulting in GREAT benefits for all you shrewd bidders and serious connosieurs of TRUE solid gold music history out there!!! Make no mistake, I'll try my best to consistently offer some of the VERY BEST records available on ebay, many which have taken me YEARS to find!!!
I aim to put a weekly batch up (time permitting) every Wednesday, all timed to end 10 days later on Saturday night. I'll only ever offer THE BEST, MOST AMAZING, MOST IMPORTANT, VERY RAREST UK 1ST PRESS ORIGINAL RELEASE RECORDS I've got!!! I won't insult you with later 2nd pressings unless they are of exceptional quality and rarity. I'm sure you love good music as much as me, especially when it's a 1st Press LP, direct from the master tape, as the musicians intended it to be heard (none of this "digitally remastered",weak reissued, remixed rubbish from hired hands with one eye on the mixing desk and the other on the clock! If these session men really knew how genius should sound, surely they would've been geniuses themselves?! There will only ever be one Hendrix, and that's just a tiny example).

WELCOME TO A MASTERPIECE!!! AN ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE AND ULTRA RARE CLASSIC LP!!! A GREAT EXAMPLE OF THIS MILESTONE IN ROCK, AND A REAL ONE-OFF OPPORTUNITY TO OWN THIS INCREDIBLY RARE ICONIC DAY OF RELEASE CLASSIC WITH SUCH AN ULTRA CLEAN SLEEVE (ALMOST ALWAYS STAINED AND DULLED - NOT THE CASE HERE)!!! Do not miss out on this used, but BRILLIANT sounding AWESOME piece of rock history, bid now!!!

This is, and always will be one of the TRUE pinnacles in the art form of music - you will struggle to believe it was made by humans!!! Quite possibly THE greatest debut album ever!!! It's astonishing to think that this actual LP right here actually existed within his sweet, short, explosive lifetime five decades ago - we will never see the likes of Hendrix ever again, without a doubt the greatest guitarist of all time!!!

About : Ultra Rare Original 1967 UK 1st Press!!! This MASSIVELY RARE LP initially sold barely anything (LP's were also really expensive to most people back then!!!) and therefore had a very small run, and is INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition!!! Classic UK 1st Press black Track labels!!! Both sides are GREAT with minimal signs of age, NO stickers, and NO tears whatsoever!!! Just has a name in the T of Track on each side and some spindle marking from general use over the years!!! GREAT for a 53 year old record!!! Both must grade overall as Fair++++!!!

Record : Visual -

Spectacular Ultra Thick Original UK 1st Press Vinyl!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed!!! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks GREAT for it's age with NO nasty gauges, and NO deep groove-breaking vicious scuffs whatsoever!!! The only blemishes are just a few light scuff marks, a few hairlines and age marks here and there, and just some of the usual light wispy sleeve traces (only visible in direct angled light) from general use and where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years!!! On a modern, thin LP, these marks would possibly be obvious upon play, but because this is such a fantastic ultra thick quality 1st pressing, it plays fine with no trouble AT ALL!!! Used, but definitely AWESOME for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall at least as Good+++!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me!!!)

Record : Audio -

Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic mono blast and clarity!!! It really sounds great with NO hops, distortion, sticks, or skips!!! Only (like pretty much all records) has low level static in places such as on the run in grooves, a few light ticks here and there on rare occasions and a hint of mild and light "bluesman's fag" static in few and far between places such as on some of the quieter sections, but it truly doesn't overshadow the music AT ALL!!! I'd even argue it gives it added soul!!! A GREAT listen - The music is TRULY loud and clear with that bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from UK 1st Press vinyl!!! Absolutely essential!!! BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audiably as Very Good!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Sleeve :

Original 1967 UK 1st Press front laminated patents pending “E.J Day” sleeve complete with original unsplit inner!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn, worn, and stained due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT bad at all, and looks GREAT, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NO tears, NO really bad marks AT ALL, NO seam splits, and still ULTRA strong and solid after all these years!!! Only has a few signs of usual minor ageing such as some creasing and a hint of a record imprint, a little ageing to the still bright unlaminated back such as some light ink rubbing here and there with a very faded name to the bottom left corner (black on black, very hard to notice - otherwise remarkably clean with nothing drastic at all - NO nasty grubbiness, coffee cup rings or anything like that at all!!!) with just a little usual rubbing and whitening to the still strong spine, a touch of denting to the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP's have, and POSSIBLY (just to be sure!!!) one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! I tend to bring it down by emphasizing the negatives, but this remains a GREAT sleeve (the iconic artwork looks AWESOME), and a TRUE rarity to find one as brilliantly presentable as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! It remains ultra strong, solid, unspoilt, and beautifully presentable!!! Must grade overall at least as Good+++!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Summary : A used, but GREAT playing example of this ULTRA RARE classic true day of release UK 1st Press LP!!! Hard to find in ANY condition, but simply IMPOSSIBLY RARE TO FIND ONE AS BRILLIANT AS THIS!!! YOU MAY NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don't miss out on this scarce opportunity to own a true piece of 60's/70's music history!!! Bid now!!!

I've realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system (occasionally with a + or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i'm having real trouble deciding!), so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100% perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use from the years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wear and will play fantastically well with plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps!
