Super-rare promotional U.S. pressing of Van Halen's 1978 debut album!
Vinyl record is NM/NM-. A few very light wispy lines that do not effect play. Test played near mint throughout.
Clear, dynamic analog sound!
Album cover. with large promo sticker on the front, is also near mint. NO barcode.
Beautiful condition with no bends, creases, writing or ring wear. Clean, readable spine.
Mega-rare black & white inner sleeve is also near mint. No creases, rips or wrinkles. Slight 2" edge split in the middle of the bottom. (see pictures)
Only early promotional copies of this album had black and white photo/ logo inner sleeves. When the album went into regular production
the photos and logo were colorized. I've included examples of the colorized versions for comparison.
Top copy of one of the most iconic/best debuts in hard rock. Very cool collectible!
