From a private collection, first original print from the 1970s
EDIZIONI MUSICALI CIELO - VIDEO PROMOZIONE EDITORIALE N. 4 - JUMP ITALIAN LIBRARY... 7-inch, 33rpm EP single by unknown artists and LED ZEPPELIN. Original Italian private pressing on the split JUMP & CIELO-VIDEO label, from 1970. Little known, promotional-only Library grail on 7inch format ;) Desirable item as it contains maybe the very best soul jazz / mod boogaloo / deep funk tune from the Italian scene and as an extra bonus, 4 edited themes by English rock gods Led Zeppelin gleamed from their debut masterpiece (the Lp with turquoise sleeve lettering and Superhype Music credits on the labels). The Jump label side features the killer MUNGO BLUES theme, played by an un-identified group (most probably stellar Italian jazz and Library session men like Ciro and Antonio 'Maspes' Dammicco / Oscar Valdambrini / Eraldo Volonte / Glauco Masetti et al. Great for DJs with funky breaks and beats galore. The Cielo Video label side is a Led Zep collector oddity as it includes their indo rock track BLACK MOUNTAIN SIDE with tablas by Viram Jasani / 'Sono Un Idiota' aka DAZED AND CONFUSED / 'Sento Che Mi Manchi' aka BABE I'M GONNA LEAVE YOU and 'E' Qui Che Ti Sbagli' aka HOW MANY MORE TIMES. All tracks are unique edits as they were intended for Italian radio spots / film or television use.
