This lot contains eleven 10-inch 78 RPM children's records and picture sleeves, all on the Children's Record Guild (CRG) label. They are all shown together in the first picture, then in groups in the other pictures. The first two are both two-record sets in gatefold sleeves. The others are all single records.
In the order shown in pictures 2 through 11, they are:
Pictures 2-5:
CRG # 208 - "Pinocchio" by the Eugene Lowell Singers.
CRG # 1007-8 - "The Emperor's New Clothes" conducted by Max Goberman.
Pictures 6 and 7:
CRG # 5025 - "Little Pedro", the title role sung by David Pfeffer.
CRG # 504 - "Timber-r-r!" told and sung by Tom Glazer.
CRG # 5020 - "The Mouse and the Frog" sung by Lee and Sally Sweetland.
Pictures 8 and 9:
CRG # 9003 - "The Story of Slow Joe" told by Norman Rose.
CRG # 509 - "The Big Rock Candy Mountain" sung by Tom Glazer.
CRG # 5007 - "Mr. Grump and the Dingle School Band" told by Norman Rose.
Pictures 10 and 11:
CRG # 5013 - "The Lonesome House" told by Frank Maxwell.
CRG # 1004 - "Little Red Wagon" by Beatrice Landeck.
CRG # 5010 - "Bring a Song, Johnny" by Oscar Brand.
They are mostly undated, but "Timber-r-r!" is dated 1951.
I don't see any cracks or chips, but otherwise the records are in "as is" condition, with some visible scuffs and scratches (more so on some records than others). I haven't played them and I haven't attempted to clean them, although I believe a good cleaning would improve their playback quality considerably.
In varying degrees, the sleeves are creased, slit and torn, and some of them have writing or doodles on them.
International Buyers – Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. Customs fees are normally charged by the shipping company or collected when you pick the item up. These fees are not additional shipping charges. We won't under-value merchandise or mark the item as a gift on customs forms. Doing that is against U.S. and international laws.
COMBINED SHIPPING: See our seller list for other interesting and unusual items, in fact bid on several and you might save on shipping and handling. If you buy multiple items, and if it's feasible and cost-effective for us to ship the items together, we will gladly consider requests to combine shipping at a reduced cost. Just e-mail us, and we can provide combined shipping cost estimates on a case-by-case basis. Depending on weight and other considerations, we typically offer full shipping rate for the first item, then 50 cents or $1.00 per item. And if you are purchasing multiple items, please make the payment as a single payment, rather than trying to pay for each item separately. Oh, and this may sound obvious, but we can't reduce the shipping charges for items on which we offer free shipping.
