Real Thing - 4 From 8 RARE 1st Press Vinyl LP Record Album Funk Soul Collectable. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail Signed For® 2nd Class. Cover in good condition, has plenty of edgewear and spine damage but some of the spine can still be seen. There’s also some visible ringwear and cover scuffs but nothing terrible and corner wear and there’s some water staining visible on the back towards the bottom half but not really bad but still very visible. The gatefold cover (the buildings) have some wear across the tops and some minor rips/tears with some of the cover in places coming away but can be repaired carefully with glue. Also towards the top of the gatefold cover, there’s a small bit that is worn the most that doesn’t move with the rest of the gatefold cover because they have separated. The actual vinyl has quite a few light marks and small unfeelable scuffs/hairline marks and needs a very good clean as it has a dirty surface before playing (this will be done by buyer only if they wish to prevent me from accidentally damaging the vinyl surface) but to point out there’s a bigger, deeper scratch on one side that is very visible (view photos) that goes across two tracks. I have played over this scratch and it doesn’t skip on my player (it may on yours) but has quite a few clicks/pops over these tracks. Music can still be heard over the background noise but still the background noise can be heard, a clean may help prevent less unwanted noise. Not a great collectable copy but is an okay filler/playing copy if you can bear with the consistent background noise. Please check out my other vinyl listings. Thanks!
