Vinyl Audio Grade & Date of Playtest: Fair (Please note that this has a slight jump at the start of track number 4 on side 1 hence the fair grading, other than that the record has quite a sharp and clear sound, some very slight noticeable audible crackle throughout the tracks, some slight noticeable background noise in between tracks, reasonably quiet on the run ins and run offs, there are some noticeable clicks per revolution at the start of side 2, there are also some other pops/clicks here and there throughout the record as a result of a handful of more feelable hairline marks. Fair sound quality (Playtested 10th February 2021)
Vinyl Visual Grade: Fair (There are quite a few light superficial hairline surface marks on the record, there are 5 or 6 small more feelable raised hairline scratches on the record and these cause the aforementioned jump at the start of track number 4 on side 1 and also the clicks per revolution at the start of side 2, the records surface has a number of additional light hairline marks from general use and play, there may be some additional paper traces from the record being put in and out of the inner sleeve under bright light, looks to have been played on quite a number of occasions by looking at spindle marks, labels are ok with no rips or tears, there is some slight wear around the spindle holes, overall if you can live with a record that jumps slightly forward 1 second or so at the start of track number 4 and dont want to pay £150+ for a EX copy then then this record is for you)
Album Cover Grade: Very Good (no major creasing to the front corners, some light creasing to 2 of the 4 rear corners, no spine splits, no major rubbing/wear to the spine, a legible spine, no top edge splits, no bottom edge splits, there is some additional rubbing/wear to the top edge and the bottom edge, there are no major rips/tears in the sleeve, some corner rubbing, some very slight ringwear on the front and back that is noticeable, the sleeve is reasonably clean and does not have any major discolouration/staining, a sturdy sleeve, overall a VG sleeve)
All records are graded in complete honesty and with the utmost scrutiny. All records listed have been playtested by me and will not jump, stick, or skip in any way. I have been collecting records now for approximately 15 years and have amassed quite a collection and have decided now is the time to reduce the collection in size. The quality of items listed generally varies but most of the time will be in Excellent condition or thereabouts. If it is higher or lower than Excellent then it will be mentioned in full detail in the grading section above. Most of the records that will be listed will be from the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970s. The genre's will vary from prog rock, soul, reggae, rock n roll, beat, pop, psych. I will not be offering any classical records for sale though. I have some huge rarities in my collection and all will be up for sale at some point in the next year or so.
If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to ask. Please also click on 'see other items' on the right hand side of the page to see what i have on offer. All the pictures you see in the listings are taken with my own digital camera and my scanner. They will be 100% representative of what you will be purchasing from me. Good Luck !

GRADING SYSTEM BELOW
MINT - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
