"Revolver"
Here's another classic Beatles album...
I have had this for years..It came as part of a large collection I bought..When I bought the collection I looked at this record and thought.."Oh Dear"....But I could'nt throw away a 606-1 in any condition!...My head is finally ruling my heart and it must go....
Issued on Parlophone in 1966..PMC 7009..UK pressing in Mono..It has the withdrawn mix of "Tomorrow Never Knows"..
IT HAS NO SLEEVE
Visually it looks rough..Loads of scuffs and hairlines and a couple of scratches that look dangerous..
To be honest,I am surprised at the play grade..(It plays a lot better than I expected..EMI knew how to make records!)...I expected crackle and pops and I got them...I expected jumps and I got them..2 small ones on side 1,none on side 2..I expected it to stick and it did'nt..Actually,side 2 plays a bit better than Fair, with slightly less crackle than side 1..
The labels are undamaged but there is visible spindle wear and the edges of the centre holes are worn white..
The previous owner obviously played it close to death and did not look after it..I doubt that it had been in a sleeve of any form for years before I rescued it..
It is what it is....It's rare, but it is not in good condition at all..
It's has a low start ..It may be of use to one of you!
It has NO outer sleeve..Just a plain white one..
Any questions,just ask!
