This is not Folk Music. This is Chicago Blues. It's electric Muddy Waters (sounding VERY young) recorded in the early 50s and repackaged as "Folk Blues" to appeal to young white kids that were discovering old folk and blues artists. Yes, there was a "Folk Music Revival" in the US in the 50s and 60s.
