Die kanadischen Punkrocker Billy Talent veröffentlichten 2012 ihr viertes Album »Dead Silence«. Nach »Billy Talent I«, »II« und »III« war dies ihr erstes Album, das nicht nach der Band benannt war. Es wurde bei der Veröffentlichung sehr gut aufgenommen und viele Kritiker lobten den Stilwechsel zum Vorgänger. Das Album enthält die Hits »Viking Death March«, die Juno-nominierte Lead-Single, die immer noch ein fester Bestandteil jeder Billy Talent Live-Show ist und »Surprise Surprise«, ein Post-Hardcore angehauchter Hard-Hitter. »Stand Up and Run« und »Show Me the Way« wurden ebenfalls als Singles veröffentlicht.
»Dead Silence« gibt es jetzt als limitierte Auflage von 3.000 einzeln nummerierten Exemplaren auf CRYSTAL WATER Vinyl. Die LPs sind in einem wunderschönen UV-mattierten Trifold-Sleeve untergebracht, das ein 4-seitiges Booklet und einen exklusiven Kunstdruck von Ken Taylor enthält, der auch das Album-Artwork entworfen hat.
