Metallica Master of Puppets 1986 1st Pressing Elektra Records NEVER PLAYED!.

This is a copy of Metallica Master Of Puppets delivered to a radio station. Metallica had a very exclusive and lucrative contract with Electra records. For that reason, very few promotional copies were actually pressed. Most promotional copies given to radio stations were purchased by Electra records and given to radio stations for giveaways. That’s the reason you’ll see a hole punch through the top right corner of the front of the outer sleeve. Part of that punch hole also goes to the top right hand corner of the inner sleeve.

The vinyl has never been out of the sleeve until now for photographs. As I mentioned in the listing, this vinyl has never been played or even seen the light of day since 1986.

Unfortunately, I didn’t use the best practices in filing it in my album collection. For that reason, you’ll see some wrinkles in the bottom left corner of the outer sleeve. There is a photograph of the same wrinkled corner from the rear perspective. There is virtually no ring we’re on the outside of the outer sleeve that I can see or photograph.

Since this album has been shuffled through my vinyl library for the last 30 years, the inner sleeve has splits on both sides. I suppose it’s where the vinyl is shifted back-and-forth well-being placed between all the other albums. Each separation seems to be about 1 1/2 inches long. Other than that, both sides of the inner sleeve seem to be in excellent condition.
