Rare BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN 1973 Play Back VINYL 33 1/3rpm 7" Rosalita.
If you're not familiar with Columbia Records "Play Back" series, here's a little history:
A series of 7" discs were issued as a promotional vehicle for the Columbia and Epic (CBS) record lables in the early 70's. For a $3.00 subscription, fans could get regular mailings of 7" records, information on the artists featured and a feedback form. The tracks on Play Back discs were generally newly released and not otherwise available on 7" at the time. They are rare to find now.
This Play: Back disc has two songs on side one, and Rosalita on side two.
Side 1- Stone Country by Johnny Winer and Trasatlantic Westbout Jet by The Hollies.
Side 2- Rosalita by Bruce Springsteen.
The disc is a 7'' with 33 1/3rpm.
I've owned the disc for over 30 years and have kept it in good shape.The sleeve is in very nice condition for its age.
