Soul Coughing "Irresistible Bliss" SEALED first Vinyl press 1996 with press kit
Hello Soul Coughing fans. Here's a grail for you. This is a sealed first pressing of "Irresistible Bliss" on vinyl, complete with press kit and an 8x10 promo photo. The only other sealed copy of a first pressing I can find is in Germany and is selling for $168.
I was a music writer for many years and this was sent to me by Slash/Warner Bros for reviewing purposes. They always sent both the LP and CD so I listened to the CD and kept the vinyl sealed. Warner Bros marked their promotional mailings by scraping a small section of the jacket's spine, which you can see in photos 3 and 4. I've no idea why they did this.
In case you need proof, I've included the press kit which was mailed with the LP and CD. It has a nice photo and a paper bio.
I've graded the vinyl as NM because I don't believe Mint is possible. The jacket is graded Excellent because of the scrape.
