Tom Petty was an American rock musician, singer, and songwriter. Petty was the lead singer of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. He was also a member and co-founder of the late 1980's super-group The Traveling Wilbury's. Tom Petty is one of the best selling music artists of all time. Petty suffered cardiac arrest and died in 2017 at age 66. "Hard Promises" is his fourth album, released in 1981 on Backstreet Records.
