DEFCON 23... what a year. Richo and I presented , which included such shenanigans as being attacked by a killer drone armed with Uberteeth on the roof of the Venetian and almost attempting to do the same in an auditorium full of fleshy humans.
23 being odd meant non-electronic badge. Instead of lame paper badge, the DEFCON crew opted to make a vinyl (well, plastic) record, because as the saying went, "I went to DEFCON and now I have a record". The record is fully functional and contains two audio tracks. Side A is part of the badge contest, and side B is Dual Core's hack all the things. I've ripped both sides (with nico's help!) and .
I also attended BSidesLV that year, hence the stickers.
ATTENTION VINYL ENTHUSIASTS: the content of this record is identical to the human (white) disc from the same year. The only difference is the color of the plastic and the stickers. The condition of the disc is... not great. I have made no effort to take good care of it and remember possibly intentionally scratching it at one point (though that might have been Richo, it's been a while).
