The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. They became regarded as the greatest and most influential act of the rock era. Their enormous popularity emerged as "Beatlemania", and in 1964 they had become international stars leading the "British Invasion" into the US market. "I Want To Hold Your Hand" is a song which became The Beatles' Best-selling Single worldwide. It was the groups first American #1 Hit and started the "British Invasion". Side One) 'I Want To Hold Your Hand', Side Two) 'I Saw Her Standing There' (US), Side Two) 'This Boy' (UK). Capitol Records, #5112. The cover shows Paul McCartney smoking a lit cigarette which was air-brushed out later. Sleeve is in very good condition with tape marks, vinyl is in good condition showing lots of wear.
