Description
A 33 1/3 RPM mono vinyl LP, 'Please Please Me' by The Beatles.
The album was released in 1963 on the Parlophone label.
This was the debut studio album from The Beatles. Recorded at EMI Studios, Abbey Road in September & November, 1962 and February, 1963 and released in March, 1963
All songs were written by Lennon & McCartney, (McCartney-Lennon on both labels and sleeve), except where noted on the track listing below).
The band were, of course:- John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
In addition George Martin plays piano and celesta and Andy White plays drums on 'Love Me Do' and 'P.S I Love You'. Both are uncredited.

A laminated front cover features Angus McBean's famous photo of the band looking down the stairwell of EMI's London headquarters in Manchester Square. The rear cover has a full track listing, with writer credits, and sleeve notes by The Beatles press officer, Tony Barrow.
A printed, white paper, poly-lined, inner sleeve with 'Use 'Emitex'...' and record care advice on both sides.

This version was probably pressed somewhere between Summer, 1963 and January, 1964.
The sleeve was printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd., London
Laminated front cover with a large 'mono' in the top, right-hand corner.
The photo credit for Angus McBean starts ,more or less, underneath where the 'g' of 'songs' ends.
Laminated flipbacks on the back cover, but the rest is unlaminated.
Black labels with yellow 'Parlophone' logo and silver print. The perimeter print begins with 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd.' and 'Recording First Published 1963' is printed below the matrix number (this is also printed under the track listing on the back cover) but not 'Sold in the UK.
The KT tax code doesn't appear anywhere on either label.
Aldon Mus. and Ambassador Mus. Ltd are printed as publishers on the labels.

Condition
The vinyl looks VG to VG+.
There is just the odd faint scratch, which gives an occasional faint pop. Plays well.
The sleeve is G+ to VG. There is edge wear, mainly at the corners, with small creases in the laminate and faint ring wear. The flipbacks have a few small tears in places (see photos).
The inner sleeve is undamaged and unmarked, with just some light creasing.
