For sale is a special edition vinyl release of Ultraviolence by Lana Del Rey (Polydor/Interscope Records, B0020952-01).
This is the original 2014 double vinyl limited edition pressing released exclusively by Urban Outfitters.
It's worth noting that the jacket was chewed upon by my cat - Lana's music caused my kitty to express ultraviolence toward the edges of the jacket.
This release is notorious for having surface noise, and both of these records are no exception. They play with rotational hiss, pops, some whooshing, and although it's mostly noticeable during quiet parts it's prominent throughout. Even though the records don't play as the distributor intended the surface noise gives the album a unique feel. It's a quiet album and the hiss and light crackle give the songs a nice, old-timey ambiance.
CONDITION:
Disc is VG+ with some light signs of play wear, a bit more on disk 2. There's some light marks on the second disk. Disk 1 is the quieter of the two with side A being fairly quiet but side B having some light hiss and crackle that goes away after a few minutes. Side C is about the same as B, but Side D is pretty quiet. All in all nothing terribly distracting, better than many other's who have reported considerably more surface noise on all sides. I'm certain it helps to have a static/dust remover brush to run over the surface before each play.
Jacket would be VG+ if not for my cat acting in an ultraviolent way toward several of the corners in which she took small chunks off and punctured the edges with her teeth. Because of the cat marks the jacket is in Good Condition. See pics for more details.
