CONDITION:   Record is near mint, sleeve has ring marks front and back and short split in the middle of the bottom (see images).

From the original DOT Records 1963 release, this appreciative tribute collection includes 12 of the songs made famous by the truck-driving Rock 'n Roller from Memphis. Boone utilized Paul Smith's jazz arrangements to give these familiar Presley hits a new feel. It was ahead of its time - Boone's fans not ready to hear him sing Elvis' songs and Elvis' fans not ready, either! Elvis liked it, though. They were friends, two Tennessee boys from modest circumstances who made good.
