A VERY RARE GUY LOMBARDO & His Royal Canadians Decca 78 RPM record celebrating the band's 20th Anniversary season at Roosevelt Grill in NYC on September 26th, 1949. Comes with awesome sleeve as well! 

One side has Guy and the band doing "Auld Lang Syne,"the other side has spoken word anniversary tributes from IRVING BERLIN, Dean Carpenter, Gen Buck, Paul Whiteman and David Kapp. 

This record seems to be VERY RARE -- I can't find a single reference to this record on the internet. There seems to be no record of a 78 RPM record with these two tracks on it. It may have been given out to attendees on the night of -- that's my feeling. Anyone out there know? Here's an article about his 20th year, but can't find this record mentioned anywhere:

Records have been listened to for quality. This is in decent sound condition, better than a 5 out of 10 overall. Words are audible, but clicks, crackles and other noise do indeed invade the listening experience quite noticeably. But again, there's no record of this record anywhere.

Side note - I have a relatively crappy record player and I don't clean these 78s beyond using a very mild cloth, so you very well may get better sound than I do if you have a good record player and devoted cleaning tools.
