Cat Stevens TEA FOR THE TILLERMAN Vinyl LP 1970, SP 4280 A & M Records.  This is a Monarch Pressing.  Early version, marked, etched numbers match.    The A&M Label is a greenish gold color--definitely an older style. The album is in excellent condition, no visible scratches or marks--there is minor popping when played. The original paper sleeve is present and in excellent condition.  The cover has nice, bright colors there is some minor paper loss on the cover where I assume a price tag once was.  The spine also has one spot where it is slightly ripped in the middle, overall I would still grade this as an excellent.  This came from the estate of a collector and former employee of the concert promoter, Bill Graham.  I purchased the entire collection of over 2000 albums and there are many promotional copies and nearly all first pressings in excellent to mint condition.  
Most of the items that I sell are antique or vintage as as such they do show signs of patina, use, and age.  That only adds to the character that so many collectors desire.  If there are any major issues or defects, I try to describe them to the best of my ability and as accurately as possible.  In the event that I do miss something with words, I provide you with plenty of pictures to be included as part of the description.
