XIT (Crossing of Indian Tribes) were a Native American band with recordings celebrated as a milestone work. It was the first of it's kind to combine traditional and electric instrumentation along with chanting and Native dialog. A group whose music should live on. "Plight of the Redman" is a concept album about the changes in Native American life since the arrival of Columbus. It is an important album because it tells the real story of Native People of this country in a rock music format. You will be blown away. It needs to be shared with more people.
