A 1978 self -titled David Gilmour vinyl record album. Gilmour is an Engligh guitarist, singer, songwriter, and member of Pink Floyd. He joined Pink Floyd as guitarist and co-lead vocolist in 1967 shortly before the departure of Syd Barrett. This album, the first of Gilmour's solo albums showcases his guitar playing and songwriting. One of the songs written during the finishing stages of the album, but too late to be used on the album was incorporated into a song by Roger Waters to later become "Comfortably Numb". The song "So Far Away" on this album uses a chorus similiar to "Comfortable Numb" but it is in a different key. The album cover has light wear from age and use. The gatefold opens up and features a fun photo collage. The vinyl record is in great condition.
