Black Sabbath: Paranoid.
• Originally released in the UK September 1970 but most copies, like this one, date from 1971.
• Whereas most copies of Paranoid have an unlaminated gatefold cover this is the rarer laminated version.
• Has the smaller Vertigo swirl label and wording ''Vertigo'' above the spindle hole.
• The label has "Produced by Roger Bain for Tony Hall Enterprises" over two lines. Most other versions have this text on one line only.
Vertigo: 6360 011
Matrix: Side 1 - 6360011 1Y//2▽420 ſ 2 15 Matrix: Side 2 - 6360011 2Y//2▽420 ſ 2 11
Vinyl: VG+ Some hairlines & marks, non-feelable. Overall very clean with a bright sheen.
Cover: VG+ Nice condition. Some age related wear, light rubbing. Small pen ticks next to four tracks.
Sleeve: Original Vertigo Swirl inner cover. Name, top right on reverse.
Play tested on a Rega P3 with Exact cartridge. It has a full, powerful, rich sound with excellent dynamics and balance, a characteristic of original Vertigo pressings. On the minus side there are a few light clicks during 'Planet Caravan'.
