This is one of the great Chicago Blues and Howlin Wolf songs. Incredible Blues
Howlin’ Wolf was born near the border or Clay and Monroe counties in what is often called the Black Prairie.
He learned guitar from Charlie Patton. Harmonica from Sonny Boy Williamson.
Recorded first by both Sam Phillips and also the Bihari brothers he wound up playing in West Memphis Arkansas where he had a radio show.
The Chess brothers convinced him to move to Chicago and he and Muddy Waters became Blues royalty.
Huge influence on Rock and Roll.
Especially the British rockers but also Paul Butterfield and Michael Bloomfield and literally almost every Blues artist playing Chicago Blues.
